I had this plan...

To start blogging about this early on... do i see a pattern here? My intentions are there, but i don't follow through! *sigh* And what am I talking about??? ;)

Baby #2 of course ;)



Due to arrive somewhere between October 25th - November 1st via c-section!

Lil' Tad is excited about having a baby sister & having one of each is such a blessing! We can't wait to meet Baby Tad! :)

It's beginning to look alot like... TEXAS?!?!?!

So we got our snow for the year... yup, year! I'd really like to see it make an appearance more than just a few days a year, but i'm also glad that we don't get BLIZZARDS like the Northeast does. No thank you, sir. Pretty sure i'd turn into a frozen popsicle. Lil' Tad, the hubby & Froggie Pup LOVED the snow and had a great time making it all disappear in our backyard!! The fall leaves were poking through the white in no time!

No snow ice cream for us though... just can't do it!! We have other friends that like to have this special treat with their kiddos... but the air just isn't the cleanest, you know. And i'm not usually one to worry about "germs" but I gotta draw the line on this one. Luckily, Lil' Tad doesn't have a CLUE about snow ice cream & fudge bombs work for him ;)

I'm on a roll....

2 months since my last post... about posting more! haha :) And what prompted me to even THINK about my blog today, you ask... I was reading some really AWESOME Mommy blogs that someone posted on facbook! Sarcastic, witty, down-to-earth, in your face... LOVE IT!!! I know I have it in me... :) Besides, i've got to start documenting more of Lil' Tad's funny stories & adventures before he becomes Big Teenager Frog!! We've got a few years... at least 5, but at this rate, he'll be 13 before I know it!

where am i??

Somehow i have stumbled across my blog again... I'm not sure if I even remember how to do this anymore!! Everytime i remember that i have a blog - i say that i'm going to be better at keeping it updated and that i won't go disappearing again for months (or years!!) Let's see how it goes this time around... haha :)

*being off work!! WOOHOO :) yes, i do <3 my job! but a much-needed break

such a quitter

okay - here is my 5th or 6th time to start back up blogging!! haha i'm such a quitter... which is weird for me b/c i'm sooo not a quitter. A procrastinator maybe... HAHA :)

So Michelle's blog chelle9279.blogspot.com inspired me to start blogging again about Lil' Tad! He's growing sooo much!! It seems like he was JUST a baby and now... POOF!! He's SEVEN!!!! Where does the time go?!?!

Lil' Tad is growing up

i can't believe i have a Kindergartner. Seriously, where did the
last 6 years go?? and why do they have to fly by sooo dang fast!!
but... he's loving going to "big school" and is definitely
shining in school, school work-wise. He's still learning the
rules: keeping hands off walls, lines, his friends, talking too
much, staying on task, etc. BUT... he's working on it & we're
staying on top of any behavior issues. i'm not going to beat
him just yet! ;) (totally kidding.. by the way!!!!)

**we were basically the only ones staying in the cabins that weekend,
so the roads were all ours... :) **

Our good friend, J, and one of his baby twins, Baby A, born Dec. 30th!
Baby A was 1lbs 8 ozs, 13 inches & Baby S was 2lbs 3ozs, 13.5 inches - they were almost 2.5 months early! They are such little fighters and are doing soooo good right now! They just need to groW, grOW, gROW, GROW so they can come home!

♥ Thirteen Facts about Froggie Mama's Hubby ♥
1. He'll turn the big 3-0 on Saturday!
2. We have been ♥ together ♥ for 10 years & married for almost 5!
3. He has 1 older brother, 2 older sisters, and 1 younger sister.
4. His youngest sister was born the day before he was! They are 11 yrs apart.
5. He's a native Texan. Born and raised in the same city! *Yeehaw*
6. Hubby is a BIG poker fan & is pretty good at it! Don't be surprised if you see him on the World Poker Tour someday! hehe :)
7. He also enjoys playing pool, helping coach Lil' Tad's soccer team (undefeated by the way! Okay... they don't keep score, but the parents do! ha!), fishing, doing puzzles, riding 4-wheelers, & spending time with his family!
8. I love his sense of humor and playfulness! He likes to joke alot & is always trying to make people smile! He's definitely a *people-person!*
9. He played soccer from 6 yrs to 18 yrs old until he hurt his knee. It still bothers him from time to time.
10. He's hoping to go back to school in the near future. He's mentioned about becoming a High School Coach/History teacher. I think he'd be awesome at it! :)
11. He is horrible about falling asleep on the couch at night! And trying to wake him up is a HUGE chore! ha! He is such a deep sleeper... or he just like to ignore me! His alarm could go off for 30 minutes without disturbing him!
12. He loves his little boy more than anything! He's a super Dad! I love watching the two of them play together! Definitely 2 peas in a pod!
13. I'm looking forward to spending many more birthdays with my Frog Prince and growing old together! ♥ Happy 30th Birthday to my loving hubby!
